We are the Producers Discover Britain
Discover Britain, broadcasting all over the UK, on Sky, at prime times, showcasing Britain’s best, for 15 years +
The way it works with us as the production company is simple. SKY are the network that allow “broadcasters” to broadcast programs, WE are the “production” company and we buy the airtime not from Sky but from the broadcasters, the broadcasters have a license to broadcast with Sky. That in effect means, WE get to decide what we put onour TV program and we are allocated X amount of fixed space for advertising, this is why we are able to offer the rates we offer for broadcasting.
TravelXP broadcasts on channel 178 on Sky and Discover Britain broadcasts at prime time only, (between 6 and 9pm)
Discover is our program and we also have space within that 30 min program for commercial airtime, the broadcasters pay Sky, we pay the broadcasters, clients pay us. It works great and means we don’t have to rent a channel from Sky, we just rent slots of time, this helps the broadcasters with their finances that they have to pay to the Sky network.

Programs
Discover Britain produces a variety of programs. These include travel, business, food, boating, music and more. If it’s of interest to the public for viewing, we produce it. Unlike other production companies, we also match our advertisers and sponsors to the programs we produce, this us good for the viewer, good for us and great for the advertisers.
